A Look at December – Saying Goodbye to 2025

Perhaps at this moment you feel the need to do nothing more than curl up on the couch, with a cup of tea nearby and a blanket around you. That is very understandable, because you are fully engaged in processing the Full Moon of December 5 (and the intense solar activity around it and up to now), and that takes time.

This year, December is a month sandwiched between two months with a master vibration (November 2025 and January 2026). It is therefore a good idea not to overdo things in the coming weeks, to take enough rest, and not to put pressure on yourself.

Rather, it is a month of trying to accept what you cannot (yet) change, of sticking to what is truly a priority for you right now, and of surrendering to the flow of your life. It is also a month of preparation for the new year. You can do this very well by taking a moment of silence (or allowing yourself to come into silence) and briefly reviewing your year.

You will undoubtedly want to carry certain experiences into the new year, while others you may gladly file away vertically once you have understood their lesson. The past year placed emphasis on growth themes such as learning to open yourself (or, conversely, learning to set clearer boundaries), learning to give and share (or perhaps learning to receive), and learning to deal with your own emotions or those of others.

Perhaps you have seen this year as an opportunity to learn how to deal with your great sensitivity and to increasingly use it as a quality—or perhaps you still mainly experience it as a burden. Perhaps at certain moments you drew a definitive line under something, or let things go, or perhaps you are still fully in the process of doing so.

This month once again places strong emphasis on information:

❥ What do you accept as “truth,” or which “truth” do you still resist?

❥ Where have you created illusions, or believed the illusions of others?

How do you communicate, and is change needed here?

Is there still something that needs to be talked through, or do you feel liberated because you sense that it is “complete”?

From December 14 onward, there may be increased tension, also because the Winter Solstice (December 21) is approaching, together with the New Moon (December 20). The week leading up to it and the days following are always a period of integration of this major shift, often experienced as fatigue and the usual physical “symptoms.” If you have learned to work with this over the past years, you know how to bring your body and energy field back into balance.

You may feel some tension around obligations and responsibilities. Here too, moments of silence can be very helpful. They may allow you to gain clarity about what needs to be adjusted in these areas of your life in order to bring them to a higher level.

What is beautiful is that December almost always allows more love to flow among people all over the world, and that there is much joy and warmth when you are together with your loved ones. And perhaps you simply enjoy Christmas lights and some treats while being alone at home. Taking all the time you need for yourself, letting the past year pass by once more, and concluding with satisfaction that everything—here and now—is okay. That there are many things, as for every human being in this time, that may and will change, but that for now everything is good. And that brings so much peace and calm.

Keep the faith
