Also, those in power try to acquire even more power. And you can do this for a very long time, but in the end, no one can live without genuine love and connection. The world is still in the grip and thirst for power, which causes immense suffering, pain, and grief. Unfortunately, the way back is not easy to find.

In the previous chapters of the Lightworker Series, we have told a more or less chronological tale about the history and inner development of lightworker souls. This story may give you the impression that you develop in time from point A to point B, from dark to light, from ignorance to wisdom. And in certain ways, this is the case.

Spirit is outside of time and space. The spirit in you is the eternal, timeless part of you that is One with the God that created you. It is the divine consciousness that is the foundation of your expression in space and time. You were born from a realm of pure consciousness and you carried part of that consciousness within you throughout all your manifestations in material form.

After you have accepted your inner wounds and you have healed the traumatized parts of your consciousness as we have described in the previous chapter, your energy shifts. You are letting go of an older you. You are making room for a totally different way of being and experiencing.

When you stop identifying yourself with the ego, you first get into a state of confusion as to who you are. This confusion can be profound and very philosophical in nature. You get to ask questions about the meaning of life, about good and bad, about what you really feel and think as opposed to what others have taught you to feel and think. These questions are suddenly very real to you and they have a direct bearing on the life choices you make.

This life has the potential of offering you the chance to integrate all kinds of old aspects of yourself. And in all those aspects, in all those past lives, is something beautiful, something special: a unique talent, an energy, a radiance that has something extraordinary to add to you as a soul, and also to the world. All those unique aspects desire to now come to fruition.

Lightwork is for a large part darkwork. Transmuting the unlit within yourself allows the light to enter. This can be painful, confronting and stressful.

We have seen you using your thoughts, your minds, and your ability to focus on what you want in order to experience that creation. Some of you realize that you create one hundred percent of your reality, and therefore, you can get very upset at yourselves whenever you think a thought that contradicts the reality you want to experience.

From now on, the awakening process goes very hard. There is no soft way anymore. It is jumping along in the depths of the truth, or drowning in the illusion created because the truth was too overwhelming....

By now, it is becoming increasingly clear to many. Democracy is an empty principle, the rule of law a wash. The democratic society with its illusion of equality, freedom and security is about to plunge into the abyss. With rising inflation, gigantic increases in the cost of daily living, external threats and constant fear propaganda, the tide seems impossible to turn.
